Howdy! We're Lisa & Kaycee

Hi friend! We're SO glad you're here! We are Lisa & Kaycee, a mother + daughter duo! We are the mind + hands behind Farris Mercantile. We are a small business tucked away in the pine trees of Reklaw, Texas!

Many of you know I, Kaycee, use to own a boutique in the western fashion industry. I grew that Instagram to over 20k + it was my full time job! I LOVED IT! Fast forward to 4 years later + I found myself feeling uninspired + burnt out with the western fashion industry. I was growing as a person and so was my style! It wasn't my passion or drive anymore. I became a full time stay at home wife and mama! Since having Honey, I have found myself craving community/fellowship with other mamas + to be doing something creative with my hands. As I was telling my mother, Lisa, how I was feeling we had a light bulb moment... Let's put a building on the ranch! For the past 8 years we have talked about putting a building on the ranch to sell antiques, boutique items, + more. We also wanted to host events like a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch in the fall + pictures with Santa! We finally decided to take that jump + here we are! My mom and I thank you so much for supporting this dream of ours. We look forward to connecting with you all! 🤍

The name Farris Mercantile is inspired by my mom's parents + my grandparents, Edgar & Gladys Farris. They were married for 68 years before my Papa passed away ten years ago. My Meme turned 95 in January! I have so many fond memories with my grandparents and look up to them in different aspects of life. When I was coming up with a business name it only felt fitting to carry on their last name with something that is near and dear to my heart.
